Eid al-Fitr is predicted to fall on the 9 or 10 April this year to mark the completion of Ramadan. Eid al-Adha is the day when billions of families follow the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammed (SAW) to do Qurbani.
Qurbani is the practice of honouring Ibrahim’s (AS) devotion to Allah (SWT) when he was willing to sacrifice his son for Allah’s (SWT) sake. Qurbani meat is distributed to the poor and needy around the world so that they can celebrate the joys of Eid, too.
