The Qurbani donations last year made a real impact, feeding hundreds of thousands of widows and orphaned families across the region. Your support was able to give families access to basic meals and nutritious food during the period of Eid.
This year, we aim to continue to deliver great impact by giving your Qurbani in Kashmir to the vulnerable and standing with those who need it most.
For just £80, your Qurbani donation in Kashmir can deliver food to families facing hardship. This act of giving can bring hope and relief, along with joy, to those who are struggling. When you choose to give Kashmir Qurbani, you are helping to make sure that no family is being left behind during the blessed days of Eid.
Last year, your Qurbani had the power to reach so many people. This year is no different. As we welcome the sacred month of Dhul Hijjah, your Qurbani in Kashmir during Eid can once again help feed families and communities in need. For just £80, you can give the gift of kindness and support orphaned children who rely on your generosity.
With Eid al-Adha fast approaching, you have the chance to donate your Qurbani online with ease and efficiency. Your Qurbani to Kashmir will be handled with responsibility, making sure that the sacrifice of the animal follows Islamic rules and guidelines, and that the distribution of the meat reaches those who need it most. You have the chance to fulfil your duty of Qurbani this Eid, alongside giving joy to the vulnerable during this day of joy.
When you give your Qurbani shares to Kashmir through Orphans in Need, the animal you choose is sourced locally within Jammu and Kashmir. The sacrifice of the animal is then carried out according to Islamic guidelines, and then distributed to the local communities, widows and orphaned children in need, giving them all access to a nutritious meal during Eid al-Adha.
Qurbani is not about the sacrifice of the animal itself, but the sincerity and intention behind it. Allah says in the Quran,
[Quran 22:37]
Every year, Qurbani takes place between the 10th and 13th of Dhul Hijjah. This year, the 10th Dhul Hijjah is expected to fall on around the 27th May 2026 and will commemorate the devotion of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail (AS) for the sake of Allah.
For those of you who meet the Nisab threshold, giving Qurbani is a religious duty you must fulfil. The sacrifice of an animal, whether it’s a goat, sheep, cow, buffalo, or camel, will then be shared amongst those in need. By giving your Qurbani in Kashmir, your donated sacrifice will reach those people living in poverty.
[Quran 76:8]
There are a large number of orphans and widows living in dire conditions in Jammu and Kashmir, with some of these people going without proper food for days and struggling to survive without any support. These families need your support through the means of Qurbani donations.
Your generosity is what will allow families to receive fresh meat during the day of Eid, something that they may not have experienced for a very long time. Your Qurbani will bring comfort and relief, allowing the vulnerable to see that they are not forgotten about and they too have the right to enjoy the day of Eid.
When you are giving your Qurbani to Kashmir, you are doing more than just fulfilling an obligation. You are sharing your blessings with those who need them most. For just £80, you’ll be able to feed a family, easing their burden and bringing happiness to their lives during Eid.
Donate your Qurbani today and deliver hope to the widowed and orphaned families in Jammu and Kashmir.
