Qurbani is the sacrifice of an animal in the name of Allah (SWT). This sacrifice must be made on the 10th, 11th, or 12th day of Dhul Hijjah to be considered a valid Qurbani.

Naim lives in one of the poorest areas of Bangladesh where floods and cyclones leave families devastated. His father committed suicide when Naim was just six years old, leaving him without any financial support. Naim and his family suffered from psychological distress as well as the burden of survival struggles.
His mother started working but was barely able to cover their cost of living. Naim was worried that he would have to leave school, which would hinder his aspiration of becoming a teacher and the dream of his father. For Naim, holidays and festivals were not the same anymore. With the help of Orphans in Need, Naim is doing a lot better. With the generosity of our donors, he is able to continue his schooling and his family is getting the right support. Besides other forms of assistance, Naim’s family is also benefitting from your Qurbani.
Last year, Naim and his family were able to participate in the celebrations of Eid al-Adha, thanks to the kindness of donors like you.

Qurbani 2025 UK will be offered around 6 or 7 June, subject to the sighting of the new moon of Dhul Hijjah. Qurbani can be performed during three days of Eid-al-Adha, which starts on 10th of Dhul Hijjah.
