We’ll ensure you’re fully prepared and confident before departure.
Yes. All volunteers will require official entry clearance to travel to Pakistan. Depending on your nationality and residency status, you will be responsible for arranging either a:
• NADRA (National Database & Registration Authority) travel document, or
• Pakistan eVisa, which can be applied for online through the official visa portal.
Full guidance on which option applies to you will be provided in your volunteer information pack, along with step-by-step instructions. Please note that obtaining the correct travel documentation is each volunteer’s responsibility, and applications should be submitted well in advance of departure.
You’ll never fundraise alone! Our dedicated fundraising team will:
• Create your personal fundraising page and help you promote it.
• Share resources, tips, and creative ideas to help you reach (and exceed) your target
• Support you every step of the way with regular check-ins and encouragement
Your fundraising target of £5,000 will go directly towards supporting orphaned children and widowed mothers through food parcels, cash assistance, and essential aid in Pakistan. Every pound you raise will help transform lives on the ground.
We ask all volunteers to dress modestly and respectfully in line with local customs. Loose-fitting, lightweight clothing is ideal for daytime activities, while a light jacket or hoodie is useful for cooler evenings. Comfortable walking shoes or trainers are recommended, as you’ll be active throughout the deployment.
For women, we recommend long-sleeved tops, full-length trousers or skirts, and a light scarf for community visits.
In January, Pakistan experiences mild and comfortable weather. Daytime temperatures typically range between 18°C and 25°C, offering pleasant conditions for travel and outdoor activities. Evenings and early mornings can be cooler, dropping to around 10°C, so it’s advisable to bring a light jacket or sweater for comfort. Rain is rare, but the air can be dry, especially in southern regions.
