Join Orphans In Need on an unforgettable humanitarian deployment to Ethiopia, where you will witness firsthand the life-changing work being delivered to orphaned children, widows and some of the country's most vulnerable communities.
This is more than a trip. It is an opportunity to serve humanity, strengthen your faith, and see the direct impact of your fundraising on the lives of those in need.
Over seven days, you will visit Orphans In Need projects, meet sponsored orphans and widowed families, distribute essential aid, and experience the incredible resilience of the Ethiopian people.

Ethiopia is home to millions of vulnerable children affected by poverty, food insecurity, conflict and displacement. Many families continue to face significant hardship, with children lacking access to education, healthcare, nutrition and safe living conditions.

Every participant plays an important role in supporting Orphans In Need's work.
The funds you raise will directly support humanitarian programmes across Ethiopia, helping provide food, education, healthcare, orphan sponsorship and long-term community development.

Anyone aged 18 or over with a passion for helping others is welcome to apply. No previous volunteering experience is required.
Simply register your interest by completing the online application form. A member of our team will contact you to discuss the deployment and provide a full information pack.
The registration fee is £599.
This secures your place on the deployment.
Each participant is required to raise £3,000 before departure.
Our fundraising team will support you throughout your journey to help you achieve your target.
Your fundraising will directly support Orphans In Need's humanitarian programmes in Ethiopia, including:
Yes. Orphans In Need will arrange and book your international flights once your place has been confirmed.
Full travel information will be provided before departure.
Yes. Accommodation, airport transfers and all local transport throughout the deployment are included.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided throughout the deployment.
Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory and must be arranged independently before travelling.
Participants should consult their GP or travel clinic well in advance of departure regarding recommended vaccinations and health advice for travel to Ethiopia.

Weather conditions in Ethiopia vary depending on the region and altitude. During the deployment, participants should expect warm daytime temperatures with cooler evenings in some areas. Comfortable clothing, suitable footwear, sun protection and a light jacket are recommended.
