Give your Qurbani from £25

You can help millions of orphans and widows living in poverty, and their communities, to celebrate Qurbani Eid 2022 with the rest of us, by giving as little as £25. Our Qurbani charity helps provide quality meals to families in need and spreads happiness amongst them.

Your Qurbani will help vulnerable orphaned children and widowed mothers and sisters who are victims of extreme poverty in many countries. What better way to perform Qurbani for the pleasure of Allah (swt) and to have it distributed to the most vulnerable and needy people in our society.

Fulfil your religious duty and bring joy to orphans and widows in need.

Aisha (RA) narrated that the Prophet (SAW) said:
“There is no dearer deed of Ibn Adam in the days of Qurbani than flowing the blood (doing Qurbani) and that animal will come with his horns, hairs, and hooves on the day of Qayamat. The blood of the Qurbani reaches the stage of acceptance before it reaches the floor.”  (Tirmidhi)

What is Qurbani?

Qurbani is the sacrifice of an animal in the name of Allah (SWT). This sacrifice must be made during the 10th, 11th, or 12th day of Dhu Hijjah; otherwise, it won’t qualify as Qurbani.

Your Qurbani can help an orphan like Naim.

Naim lives in one of the poorest areas of Bangladesh where floods and cyclones leave families devastated. His father committed suicide when Naim was just six years old, leaving him unable to understand why his father decided to end his life when he thought they were happy. After his father's death, Naim's family had no support.

His mother started working but was barely able to cover the cost of their living. Naim worried that he would soon have to leave school and wouldn’t become a teacher like his father wanted him to be. For Naim, holidays and festivals were not the same anymore. With the help of Orphans in Need, Naim is doing a lot better. Not only is he continuing his schooling and getting the support his family needs, but Naim is also benefitting from your Qurbani.

Last year, Naim celebrated Eid ul-Adha thanks to the kindness of donors like you.

We use your online Qurbani donations to carefully select animals that are suitable for Qurbani and carry out the sacrifice on your behalf. We make sure that the Qurbani is done on the days of Eid and that the fresh meat is delivered as soon as possible so that orphan and widow families can enjoy the blessings of Eid.
