We provide monthly food parcels to widowed families, supporting 2,556 individuals over a six-month period. Each parcel contains essential nutritious items, helping these families meet their basic food needs during these trying times.

At Orphans in Need, we are committed to providing life-saving support to Gaza's orphans, widows, and displaced families. Alongside our efforts in Gaza, we have also extended our support to orphans and widows who have been relocated to Egypt. Through our on-the-ground projects in Egypt, we aim to deliver critical aid that addresses the urgent needs of the most vulnerable.
Here's how we're making a difference:

Delivering More Food Parcels in Gaza - 15th November 2024
The devastating conflict has left countless children injured and in need of specialised care. We are ensuring that orphaned children who require surgeries, receive the medical attention they desperately need. From surgeries to rehabilitation and ongoing treatments, our goal is to help these children recover and regain their health.
Conflict leaves emotional scars that can last a lifetime. That's why we offer critical mental health and psychosocial support to evacuees, including orphaned children and widowed mothers. Through individual and group therapy, art therapy, and recreational activities, we create a safe space for healing and resilience.
Providing support and aid to Gazan orphan and widow refugees in Egypt - August 2024
To help families maintain their dignity and well-being, we distribute hygiene and dignity kits to female-headed households. These kits contain essentials like soap, toothbrushes, sanitary towels, and more.
Malnutrition is a serious risk for the youngest children affected by the conflict. We are providing life-saving baby formula and diapers to children under the age of two, ensuring they receive the nourishment and care they need to thrive.
For orphaned children who have been displaced and unable to attend school, we offer non-formal educational sessions. These classes, taught by dedicated teachers, help children catch up on their education while integrating psychosocial support for a holistic approach.
Families displaced by the conflict face overwhelming financial challenges. To help them regain stability, we provide monthly cash aid to cover essential needs, such as rent or groceries. This support allows these families to focus on recovery and rebuilding their lives with dignity.
With winter approaching, we are distributing winter support kits to the most vulnerable Gazan families in Egypt, helping them stay warm and safe during the colder months.
In partnership with an international medical aid distributor, we are delivering 11 emergency health containers packed with essential medicines and PPE to the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza. This life-saving aid will serve over 330,000 people, providing care for up to 10,000 patients per container for three months.
