Admin Support Assistant / Fundraising Assistant (Bradford)

The Orphans in Need Donor Relations Department is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic staff to support us during the busy Ramadan period. Available to start immediately, you will help the team prepare for our most important time of the year.

As an Admin Support Assistant, you will be working as part of this dynamic team in a fast-paced and busy environment, processing all types of donations in a timely manner. You will also be required to participate in crucial telephone campaigns prior to and during the Ramadan campaign.

Suitable candidates will have experience of providing admin support with the ability to multi task and work effectively in a busy environment. You will have good numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone. But most importantly, you’ll be determined to make your mark on countless lives.

Fundraising Officer (London & Birmingham)

Orphans in Need is looking to employ a proactive, professional and highly motivated individual to fulfil their potential with our small, dynamic team. We need an individual who is willing to accept the challenging mission of being the Fundraising Officer for Orphans in Need.

Among many responsibilities, you will co-ordinate local campaigns and fundraising activities and constantly find new ways of increasing funds. You will develop, revise and implement the UK fundraising plan and budget for the London region. You will support seasonal fundraising and marketing campaigns and supervise volunteer activities.

You will need to be educated to degree level and have experience in fundraising campaigns and events management. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential as well as being a confident public speaker. You will possess excellent organisational and have good knowledge of contemporary fundraising techniques. Being able to work under pressure and work on own initiative is also essential.
