You’re experienced in dealing with international partners, project administration, the grant-making process, safeguarding and are keen to make a bigger difference. We’re a fast-growing charity that transforms outcomes for orphans and widows suffering poverty and deprivation across the globe, and our sustainable development projects are winning the battle against starvation, illiteracy and exploitation.
Your key role in our Programmes Department will ensure we set the highest standards of service and fully meet our stakeholders’ expectations in delivering to our beneficiaries. In particular, you’ll drive our work in the field with a keen focus on project development, administration and safeguarding,
To be equal to the challenge, you should be fully versed in working with international partners, dealing with budgets and grant-making, and delivering key support to senior stakeholders. It goes without saying that you’re meticulous, organised, self-motivated and flexible – and you’ll be ready to do whatever it takes to drive forward our vital mission.

Fundraising Officer (London & Birmingham)

Orphans in Need is looking to employ a proactive, professional and highly motivated individual to fulfil their potential with our small, dynamic team. We need an individual who is willing to accept the challenging mission of being the Fundraising Officer for Orphans in Need.
Among many responsibilities, you will co-ordinate local campaigns and fundraising activities and constantly find new ways of increasing funds. You will develop, revise and implement the UK fundraising plan and budget for the London region. You will support seasonal fundraising and marketing campaigns and supervise volunteer activities.
You will need to be educated to degree level and have experience in fundraising campaigns and events management. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential as well as being a confident public speaker. You will possess excellent organisational and have good knowledge of contemporary fundraising techniques. Being able to work under pressure and work on own initiative is also essential.
