Zakat is given to those in desperate need. By giving your Zakat to Orphans in Need you will be helping to relieve the hardships of the most vulnerable in society, including impoverished orphan children and widowed families.

How will your Zakat Help?

Your Zakat is given to those in desperate need. When you donate your Zakat, Orphans in Need will distribute your Zakat to relieve the hardships of the most vulnerable and impoverished orphaned children and widowed families around the world such as:

  • Widowed mother Hajira who went to make tea and the gas cylinder exploded in flames, killing her husband and four of her children and causing severe injury to herself and her two orphaned children.
  • Widowed mother Sughra who lost her husband, two sons and daughter.
  • 14-year-old Mariam who had a heart condition since she was born, and needed urgent life-saving heart surgery to survive.
  • Widowed mother Zaitoon who washed her face with contiminated water and went blind within three days.
  • 5-year-old Abid and 6-year-old Majid who are chronically sick and need nutritious food and medicine to stay healthy.
