Sponsor an Orphan Child
It’s easy to feel sympathy for the plight of those less fortunate than us, it’s a basic human response. However, we’re busy and easily distracted by immediate matters that impact on our own lives. But read on. Imagine you take a simple decision which would have a life-changing impact on someone you’ve never met.
It might be Mohammad or Bisma, 7 year old Samiya or 11 year old Imran. It could be one of hundreds of our orphans in Africa and Asia desperately seeking their entitlement to a better life and a promising future. By sponsoring an orphan your regular donation isn’t really about the money. It’s what the money can do: provide education and learning materials, ensure access to food and medicines, deliver essential health products, keep a widowed family together, and provide a supportive structure.
It’s a simple commitment to help another human being wanting a better future. Inexpensive, yet priceless. It could be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make. Sponsor an Orphan today and thank you.
Sponsoring a positive future to a named child is to offer the gift of a new life. That orphan becomes an integral part of your extended family and your donation brings them the opportunities they can only dream of. Through regular progress reports, photos, letters, even visits you’ll watch a young life grow and blossom.
Your regular sponsorship of an orphan goes a long way but often our children need something that is not covered by this amount. The Widow & Orphan Development Fund allows us to help our orphan children when they need something beyond the daily support we provide.
Orphans in Need provides nutritional food parcels to widows and orphaned families in 14 countries. It takes just £1 a day to keep those essential supplies reaching vulnerable people and it’s only possible through people like you. Just £30 a month can provide a family with one food parcel. A regular donation will help feed them for their future.
