Deployment to Nepal

At Orphans in Need, we are looking for volunteers to work with us on the ground, delivering Food Parcels for our food distribution programme in Nepal.  

The deployment will put you at the very heart of saving lives, as you experience first-hand the process of fundraising and then delivering urgent aid to orphaned children and widows in need.   

Nepal needs us now, more than ever. 

Repeated earthquakes in Nepal are shattering lives. They are destroying whole communities, and killing millions of people.  

Currently, over 1 million children in Nepal are orphaned as a result, and they need our help desperately. Without access to basic necessities like food, they will not survive much longer.  

To make matters worse, many of these orphaned children are suffering with life-changing injuries as a result of the earthquakes. The food you deliver could be the difference between life and death for them.

Thousands of children are also being abandoned when family members are suffering with paralysing injuries and are left unable to take care of them. 

They need you. 

Join us, and together we can save lives. 

You can raise funds to help feed struggling orphans and widows in Nepal. Every penny raised will be used to buy locally-sourced food which you will deliver to impoverished communities. 

Deploying abroad as a key member of the Orphans in Need family, you will save lives. You will witness first-hand the courage, hope and joy in the eyes of orphans and widows as they share their stories with you during the Food Parcel delivery. 

Your journey with us will give you a special insight into the world of fundraising and volunteering, and give you an intimate understanding of the everyday struggles of those living in impoverished communities.
