Snowdon Sunrise Challenge 2020
Experience Mount Snowdon like you’ve never experienced it before, with torches and the moonlight to guide the way, climb the tallest peak in Wales through the night! with Orphans in Need.
Come along and see if you can reach the summit to catch the sunrise, before descending the mountain for a well-earned breakfast!
It’ll be a tough challenge, but you will be raising funds for vulnerable orphans and providing them with food parcels.

Coaches will be leaving from London and Birmingham, or you can meet us at Mount Snowdon.
The aim of this event is to hike up Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales! We will be ascending the Pyg Track which is 5.5 KM long, with 2,600ft of ascent thrown in for good measure! If all goes well we will reach the iconic summit where you will be able to feast on some of the finest views in the UK. We will then descend the easier Miners Path to finish the walk.
There is no doubt about it, this will be a tough challenge, but that sensation of standing on the summit of Snowdon will make it all worthwhile, as well as raising vital funds for charity in the process.
Listed below are all the things you need to bring with you:
Waterproof jacket, waterproof trousers (no jeans, jogging bottoms, long dresses or skirts), fleece, ankle-high hiking boots (strictly no trainers), t-shirt, two shoulder strap rucksack, hat and gloves, sunscreen and hiking sticks.
