Clean Water Hand Pump
Orphans in Need runs programmes to install water pumps in vulnerable areas to eradicate this problem. Just one pump could benefit around 600 people on a daily basis and dramatically improve daily life. A donation of £500, will not only give them water, it will give them life.
School Stationary Set
£10 could pay for a stationary set for an orphan to take to school, supporting their education so they can break free from the cycle of poverty.
Feed an Orphan Family
A donation of £30 could buy enough food to last a family of 4 for one month, ensuring orphans have the nutrition they need to go to school and keep learning.
Orphan & Widow Food Pack
Orphans in Need provide a food pack to help widows and orphans affected by poverty. A donation of £360 (£1 a day) pays for a food pack for an average-sized family of five for a whole year. Foods are selected according to local availability and taste and we make sure that they are nutritionally beneficial and sufficient for one month. They contain: rice, flour, oil, lentils/pulses, spices, tea, sugar, vegetables and soap and sanitation products.
